2011 Field Report From Visiting Educator

 

In April 2011, GOSESO Board member Jack Greene visited GOSESO to assist in curriculum development, the hiring of teaching assistants, and trail construction. A former wildness ranger, Jack has over 40 years experience as a science educator at the high school and college levels in the United States. Below is a short excerpt from his field report:

"The campus is fairly bustling with activities- construction, prospective students, village council members, teacher candidates, rangers , curious villagers, field farmers, etc. The progress is stunning- many new buildings and buildings in progress, benches under mango trees, gazebos, etc. The buildings are gorgeous- made of locally manufactured brick. These folks have much skill and artistic ability as well." - Jack Greene, GOSESO Board Member
